ASTM B861 Grade 2 titanium alloy seamless pipe is made of industrial pure titanium, which combines excellent corrosion resistance, medium strength and good ductility. Its seamless structure is achieved by extrusion or rolling process, without the risk of weld defects, and is suitable for high pressure and harsh environments.

 

This material has excellent resistance to seawater, chlorides, various acids and alkalis, and is low in density (high strength to weight ratio), non-magnetic and biocompatible.

 

Typical applications include chemical pipelines, offshore platform systems, seawater desalination equipment and heat exchangers. It is the preferred material for corrosive conditions requiring long life and high reliability, but attention should be paid to the high cost and galvanic corrosion protection when connected with other metals.

Process pipelines, reactors, and heat exchanger pipelines for transporting highly corrosive media (such as chloride ions, acidic solutions, and organic acids).
