Overview

 

ASTM A789 S32750 (2507/1.4410) is a premium super duplex stainless steel seamless tube engineered specifically for heat exchangers, condensers and evaporators.

 

With a balanced 50% austenite and 50% ferrite microstructure, it features high mechanical strength, excellent chloride pitting, crevice and stress corrosion resistance, and superior thermal conductivity.

 

It is widely used in seawater desalination, offshore oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant and FGD systems for high-pressure, high-temperature and harsh corrosive working conditions.

  • Microstructure: Balanced 50% Ferrite + 50% Austenite

 

 

Manufacturing & Heat Treatment

  • Process: Seamless → Hot piercing → Cold drawn / Cold rolled

  • Heat Treatment: Solution annealing at 1020–1100°C, water quenched

  • Delivery Condition: Annealed, pickled & passivated, bright annealed optional
